The chapter organized an Online Artistic Slogan Writing Competition on the eve of 74th Independence Day
An Online Artistic Slogan Writing Competition was organized by the chapter on the eve of 74th Independence Day of India in two different categories. The theme of the competition was set as Independence Day with a set a rules and regulations framed by the committee. The event recognized a huge number of registrations across the country with the value of salute to the nation conveyed by their creations. The event was judged by Mr. Diganta Borah, Principal, Rang Tulika Art School, Dibrugarh, Assam. In category A, Harshita Sonowal bagged the prize 1st prize, Shivangi Borbora secured the 2nd position and Tanvisha Das and Debasmita Das jointly secured the 3rd prize. Meanwhile in category B, Prapanchi Boruah secured the 1st position, Tasneem Sultana secured 2nd and Debashree Dutta begged the 3rd prize. SPE DU SC congratulates all the participants for successful completion of the event.

• Emphasis on perfect colour mixing
• Emphasis on completion of the artwork
• Emphasis on neatness of the artwork
• Preference to artworks made manually rather than digitally.

Petro Prodigy, a National Level Quiz Competition
The chapter organised ‘Petro Prodigy’, a National Level Quiz Competition in collaboration with Technogate PE.inc on 2nd August, 2020
A national level quiz competition ‘Petro Prodigy’ was organized by the chapter in collaboration with Technogate PE.inc on 2nd August, 2020 based on the Petroleum Engineering sector with the aim of enhancing competence. The results of the competition were announced in the social media handles of the chapter. Manna Mukherjee from Dibrugarh University bagged the first prize, Binish Khan from IIT Madras bagged the second prize and Anjan Chhatrala from PDPU secured the third position. The chapter congratulates all the Top 10 performers of the competition and awarded prize money alongwith e-certificates.
